Speaker Guidelines

Thank you for your valuable contribution to NEPCON 2025. Please review the following speaker guidelines carefully.

1. Presentation Hall and Time Allocation

As mentioned in your email.

2. Slide Preparation

Include your CV as the first slide with affiliation, brief biodata, and picture. If representing a chapter, the second slide should outline the vision, engagement, and member list.

3. Presentation Time Allocation

  • 60 minutes total: 50 min presentation, 10 min Q&A
  • 30 minutes total: 24 min presentation, 6 min Q&A
  • 15 minutes total: 12 min presentation, 3 min Q&A

4. Conference Preview Room

Operational from 8 AM to 4 PM.

5. Presentation Loading

Load your presentation at least 2 hours before your session.

6. Arrival and Seating

  • Arrive 30 minutes before your session.
  • Coordinate with the session moderator.
  • Be seated in the front row of the designated hall.

7. Time Management

  • Sessions will strictly follow the schedule.
  • The moderator will announce session start and invite the speaker.

8. Automatic Cutoff

The microphone will stop working and PowerPoint will close after the allotted time.

9. PowerPoint Guidelines

Use a minimum 24pt font size with recommended fonts (Palatino, Georgio, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica). Ensure colors are readable.

10. Time Limits and Warnings

  • A bell will ring 3 minutes before the session ends.
  • A final warning bell will ring 1 minute before the end.
  • The "TIME UP" slide will appear at the session's conclusion.

11. Extension Requests

Time managers cannot extend presentations due to strict conference protocols.

12. Decision Authority

Conference organizers have the final say regarding session conduct, start, and postponement.
